Meteorologists confirmed that the moon will be born on 17th February at 5:01 PM. On 18th February, the crescent will be around 26 hours old, with sunset at 6:25 PM and the moon setting at 7:24 PM, offering an ideal window for sighting.


The Met Office also cautioned that partly cloudy skies in many areas may affect visibility, but the evening of 18th February remains the most promising for observing the holy month’s first moon.

 Pakistan achieved a major trade milestone in January 2026, as exports crossed $3 billion for the first time, helping narrow the trade deficit by 28.5% to $2.725 billion compared to December 2025.  Exports rose 34.96% month-on-month to $3.061bn, while imports fell 4.85% to $5.786bn.
